Maia Leandra Suazo-Maler
As a graduate of the Harvard College Class of 2019, I majored in History of Art & Architecture with a minor in Computer Science. I believe that art and technology can be seamlessly intertwined. Interactive design is a manifestation of these two disciplines – bridging the creator and the consumer and adding purposeful innovations that enhance communities.
With this mindset, I approach projects from the creative perspective of an art historical mind and the problem solving organization of a computer scientist. This seemingly disparate perspective motivates me to be inquisitive and resourceful in tackling difficult situations.
Based on my past experiences, I have cultivated a hunger for pursuing a career in creativity. With an affinity for the post-it method and rapid prototyping for solution iteration, I feel most fulfilled when I apply my skills to a position in which I can be positively challenged and learn by doing.
